Welcome to our Ikeda International School
Our philosophy at Ikeda International School "education for value creation". We established the school 1998, with the aim to develop students with a positive outlook on life and the ability to seize its opportunities. The school took its name from Dr. Daisaku Ikeda, who is an internationally renowned educator, poet, author and philosopher form Japan. He encourages establishing a strong foundation of Soka Educationa system in the world, which is a new educational movement growing to renew the integral role of education in creating a healthy and peaceful world.

The Soka education (value creating) system strongly believes to work for the best interest of the child. Education is the spirit of treasure each student's individuality so that they can become happy and enjoy a glorious future.
At Ikeda International School, it is our Endeavour to delve deeper into the true purpose of education by enabling our students to unlock and develop the power within them to create happiness. We want each one of our students to develop positive outlook, blaze new trails and open new doors. I am proud of the parents and teachers, who care, nurture and reassure the children so that they grow into mature, sensitive and responsible citizens of the country.
After my glorious 15 years experience in social work, especially on the rights of women and children, I am determined to establish a strong foundation of human values based on Soka education system and bring transformation in the education. I've started my journey of knowledge from St. Philomena's Girls School, Kalimpong-Darjeeling. India, MBA degree from Tribhuwan University, Nepal directs me to tread the path to Institute of Social Studies Netherlands where I accomplished MA in Development Studies. The journey of knowledge never ends here which unlocks my wisdom to contribute to this country and expand the horizon of my dear students.
